Graffiti Designs

I have always been fascinated by graffiti. The use of color and the abstract designs are beautiful. Words in graffiti are often so distorted that it is like a code that only graffiti artists themselves can decipher. And, not to mention, street art is just really cool. Below are some wonderful designs from Zazzlers. Some are photos of real street art, while others are digital creations that imitate this outsider art form.

Featured Artist: TheThirstyFish

TheThirsty Fish was a Zazzler that I found on my quest for black and white. I was happy to find an artist who had only black and white designs to feature this week. TheThirstyFish has two black and white bird designs, featured below, amongst the other beautiful designs featured in the shop. Though there are only a few designs, much thought, care and talent was clearly put into each one. I hope to see more from this creative Zazzler.

Black and White Bird-Brained Designs

While walking on campus, thinking of a theme for this week, my thought process went like this: trees?... no... birds?... ooo, I remember one design with birds and powerlines that I liked... it was black and white I think... black and white? would that be too specific? And so began my Zazzle search. As it turns out, black and white and birds is NOT too specific. In fact, such words have apparently inspired numerous beautiful designs. Our featured artist for this week is pledent. Hailing from Belgium, pledent has been a self-taught artist since 1989. According to his bio, he works in both watercolor and oil paint, but oils are his favorite medium. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions and has sold paintings to many different countries.
